From its beginnings as a farming enterprise established by the Carter family more than 150 years ago, the Greendale Group now comprises a selection of diverse businesses with a successful offering that aims to meet the needs of today’s changing world. As well as its farming operation and popular Farm Shop, the Greendale Group has six other lines of business; Waterdance, Greendale Living, Greendale Business Park, Greendale Haulage, Exmouth Marina and Greendale Leisure. Something of a local success story, this fifth-generation family business is built on entrepreneurship, a unique proposition and carefully-nurtured relationships with other local enterprises.
The Greendale Group is keen to champion its small-but-important corner of the beautiful Devon countryside, whether that means stocking specialist local produce in the Farm Shop, attracting major employers to the Business Park or building sympathetically-designed local housing.
