From its beginnings as a farming enterprise established by the Carter family more than 150 years ago, the Greendale Group now comprises a selection of diverse businesses with a successful offering that aims to meet the needs of today’s changing world. GREENDALE FARMING
Greendale’s farming enterprise comprises about 2,000 acres of land and has around 1,100 cattle, a flock of sheep, a piggery and 6,500 free-range laying hens.

The award-winning Greendale farm shop features a wet fish counter, on-site butchers, fabulous Deli, well-stocked grocery department, bakery, cafe and fish & chips service.
WATERDANCE FISHING
The Waterdance fleet comprises more than 20 well-maintained boats, managed and run by 15 shore staff in conjunction with 100 skilled ocean-going crew members.

As well as showcasing the very best of local produce at our Farm Shop (and serving it up at the Farm Shop Café), we also run the Kings Arms, a small, traditional inn in the charming village of Otterton. On the coast, Greendale Leisure owns and operates Exmouth Marina, a secure, sheltered facility with first-class amenities, suitable for yachts as well as motor boats. For lively nights out with a great atmosphere, Greendale Leisure also owns the Caesar’s Palace nightclub in Bideford, and Remedies bar and nightclub in Tiverton.
