Greendale Farm Shop Wins Gold Again
For the second year in a row we are delighted to announce that Greendale Farm Shop has been awarded a GOLD award in the Farm Shop category in the "Taste of the West Awards" for 2017/18. We always strive to improve facilities here and are truly honoured to have won another award from Taste of the West.
Located in the heart of the East Devon countryside and surrounded by 15 acres of farmland, you’ll find the award-winning Greendale Farm Shop and its family-friendly café. Full of fresh, locally-sourced produce, this welcoming shop has become a must-visit destination. It has an on-site butchers’ department, stocking meat form the nearby family farm, and – because Greendale boasts its own fishing fleet – a wet-fish counter that’s always bursting with fabulous fresh seafood. With a wonderful delicatessen, an on-site bakery and a well-stocked grocery department to complete the picture, a visit to Greendale Farm Shop is always worthwhile.
Butchers – Greendale meat is prepared on-site at the Farm Shop by our team of highly skilled butchers. With years of experience, the team are always on hand to help customers with expert advice about choosing the right cut of meat and the best way to cook or prepare it.
Fishmongers - Our boats return most days with a new catch; fresh fish can often be on its way to Greendale Farm Shop within hours of leaving the sea. Prepared for sale by our trained fishmongers, the fish available may vary from day to day, depending on the catch, but popular species are always to be found on the fish counter.
Fruit & Veg - We work hard to ensure that the fruit and vegetables we sell are fresh, high in quality and local whenever possible. If we don’t grow them ourselves, we buy from carefully chosen suppliers so that we can offer our customers the best.
Delicatessen - Browse the Deli and discover gorgeous local cheeses, hand-made pies and pasties and sliced cold meats fresh from our farm. We also stock a variety of speciality oils, vinegars, preserves, salads and charcuterie; choose your favourites and start planning an impromptu picnic!
Bakery - From Cobs to Bloomers, Sourdough to Spelt, there’s nothing quite like fresh, crusty bread. Using carefully sourced ingredients and traditional recipes, the Greendale Farm Shop bakery produces a delicious selection of fresh bread every day.
