Waterdance Fleet Update: Kelly of Ladram Replaces Pen Glas

We pleased to announce the acquisition of the The Kelly of Ladram (previously known as the Reliance II BF800). The Kelly has been converted from a twin-rig trawler to a whelk potter by Parkol Marine, based in Whitby, UK. She will be working alongside Waterdance’s other whelkers, the Berlewen and the Becci of Ladram. and replaces the wooden-hulled Pen Glas SE34. The Kelly of Ladram will work around the British coastline, fishing for the common whelk (Buccinum undatum).
